The ACU British Enduro Championship (BEC) is the UK’s premier time-card competition, and consistently attracts the nation’s best enduro riders and teams – all fighting to be crowned British champions.
The Dirt Store-sponsored BEC tests riders across longer course distances (with special tests typically around 25 miles) and navigational and off-road riding skills are just as important as fitness and the ability to maintain a consistent pace.
Courses are traditionally routed through forests and along natural trails, and riders have to pass checkpoints at certain times. Penalties are handed to riders if they are too early or too late. The winner is the rider with the lowest cumulative time across the ‘special tests’ on the event route.
The ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship and the ACU British Extreme Enduro Championship test riders in a different way to the BEC. Visit their pages in the main navigation.
