The 2026 ACU British Enduro Championship will blast into life this weekend (28-29 March) as the Jack Frost Enduro hosts the first two rounds of the new season.
A capacity entry of 200 riders will tackle the Rhayader Motor Club event in Mid Wales, testing themselves against a traditional style Enduro event that will demand technical riding ability and human endurance.
ACU British Enduro Championship Manager, Neil Hawker, is relishing the start of a new season for the top domestic championship in the UK.
He said: “Entries for our first event filled up within 24 hours which is absolutely brilliant. That hasn’t happened for a few years and I think that shows the pace the championship has developed in recent years and the fact we’ve got some of the best clubs in the UK delivering the events.
“The fact we’ve attracted so many top riders and teams in 2026, and that the first event is happening in Mid Wales – which is the beating heart of British Enduro, is fantastic news. “We’re expecting a weekend to remember and a spectacular show on the special tests.”
The Elite category has attracted 30 riders and will be headed by reigning British champion, Jamie McCanney, at the Jack Frost Enduro. The Elite Women category has an eight-bike entry, with Nieve Holmes determined to defend her title.
The Expert, Expert Vet O35, Clubman, Clubman Vet O40, Clubman Vet O50, and Clubman Women categories are also guaranteed to provide excitement when the action in Mid Wales gets underway at 09.00 on both Saturday and Sunday.
