The 2026 ACU EnduroGB Championship resumes on the Isle of Man this weekend as the Ramsey Motorcycle Club welcomes Britain’s leading enduro riders for rounds five and six of the series.
After two very different rounds in Wales and Yorkshire, another change of pace lies in wait at the Ramsey British Enduro event. The Isle of Man is renowned for its blend of deep sand, fast-flowing forest tracks, technical woodland and green lanes, creating one of the most varied events on the calendar. Few know those conditions better than local rider Jack Keenan.
The 20-year-old is riding in the Elite class for the first time this season and sits just inside the top ten after two encouraging rounds on his Fast Eddy Racing Triumph. A strong opening day at the Jack Frost Enduro was overshadowed by mechanical gremlins on Sunday, while the second round at Helmsley provided a very different challenge.
“The first event went really well on Saturday, but a day later I had the chain come off and lost a lot of time. The Jack Frost was more motocross-style, then Yorkshire was really tight and technical,” Jack reflected. “The Isle of Man will be completely different again with deep sand, fast woods, tight woods – it’s got absolutely everything.”

That variety is one of the reasons the Isle of Man has become a favourite stop on the EnduroGB calendar. For Jack, who’s always lived on the Isle of Man, the sandy terrain could provide a welcome advantage.
“I definitely think it suits me,” he said. “I literally grew up riding in the sand over here. I know where the tests are going to be, so it’s nice coming to an event where you’re familiar with the terrain. That gives you a little bit of extra confidence and a chance to kick on in the championship.”
Even so, the Sulby-based rider knows local knowledge only goes so far when you’re competing in an EnduroGB field that’s littered with star names and talent.
“It’s my first year in the Championship class and the competition is top level,” Jack said. “There are so many fast riders like Jamie McCanney, Dan Mundell and the rest of the boys. That’s the only way you improve though, by racing against riders like that and testing yourself at the highest level.”
Jack will be competing on home soil fresh from the latest EnduroGP round in Portugal, where soaring temperatures made for a tough event as Jack came home 12th in the Junior 2 class.
The fifth round of the EnduroGB series will start from the centre of Ramsey on Saturday morning, while Sunday’s sixth round will get underway from Mooragh Park Promenade. The action will conclude on both days at Mooragh Park Promenade.
