Jed Etchells secured the ACU Enduro Championship Elite title at the Hundred House Enduro this weekend (12-13 September), handing the Motofit Racing Enduro Team a British title in its debut season.

The well-organised Builth Wells Motorclub event hosted the final two rounds in Mid Wales and rain made the going challenging on both days – particularly on Sunday when the weather forced the officials to switch to their ‘B schedule’ which reduced the mileage. 

In fact, the Hundred House proved to be the first event of a largely arid season where technical going combined with sodden terrain. That meant the riders that traditionally excel in wet conditions came to the fore and mixed up the podium positions.

In the Elite class, Etchells (Sherco) arrived in Builth Wells with a useful points advantage over Jack Edmondson (KTM). But the latter rider was determined to keep the pressure on and cease on any opportunity that could come his way. He duly won Round 11 on Saturday to take a maximum score of 20 points.

But former Junior World Enduro Champion Etchells delivered what was needed to finish second and duly won the headline British Championship title. Edmondson took his second win of the weekend on Sunday to crown a weekend where he couldn’t have done much more to wrestle the series away from Etchells, who ironically failed to finish day two after suffering a mechanical issue. The final gap between the duo was just three points in the end.

In Elite Women, Naive Holmes (Sherco) took her 10th and 11th wins of the season to underline the feat of winning the British title at the last round in Devon. Finishing second on both days lifted Charlotte Knight (Triumph) from fourth to second in the final points. Her strong ride enabled her to overtake rivals Rosie Rowett and Elizabeth Tett who both failed to take the Hundred House start.

In the other classes, a number of championship battles went down to the wire – a reminder of how competitive the 2026 ACU EnduroGB series has been. 

Finishing second on both days enabled Kris Price (Beta) to secure the Vet Expert title by 33 points. The Welshman only failed to finish on the podium once in 12 attempts this season so was a worthy winner. Joshua Lawer (KTM) was runner-up. Saturday’s win went to William Barnett (KTM) – who also secured third in the title race – while Kit Szabo took his first class win of the season on day two.

A clean-sweep of wins in Mid Wales carried Will Keenan (GasGas) to the Vet Over 35 class title. Coming into blistering form at the end of the season – winning the last four rounds back-to-back – allowed the Manxman to see off closest rival Michael Williams. The Husqvarna rider was 23 points back in runner-up spot. Richard Ely (Triumph) was third in the series.

The race for the Clubman crown proved to be an exciting shoot-out between Josh Lister (Husqvarna) and Ailbe O’Connell (Rieju). Lister was in great form in Mid Wales and won both rounds to seal an unassailable points lead. O’Connell was just four points behind at the end of the event to seal a memorable season for the promising 18-year-old. Stanley Cubbon (Beta) was third in the points after taking second place on day two. Ryan Jones (KTM) was second quickest on day one.

Already crowned the 2026 Clubman Women Champion, Ceri Wyn Jones (GasGas) took her ninth and tenth wins of the season in that class to cap a strong season for the Welsh rider.

The Clubman Over 40 title went to Shane Tasker at the Hundred House. The Triumph rider was the dominant force in the class and won every round he entered – giving him a tally of ten 20-point maximum scores. Gavin Hunt (Husqvarna) finished second in the standings, while Alex Pringle (Sherco) was third. This duo shared second and third-place finishes equally across both days in Mid Wales.

Finally, Jason Rees (Husqvarna) scooped the Clubman Over 50 championship after doing enough to beat title rival Karl Greenall (Triumph) on both competitive days. The gap between the duo was only 6.68s on Saturday, but Rees put the hammer down on Sunday to secure a winning margin of 22.13s. Mike Turner (KTM) secured third place in the points after rounding out the podium on both days.

Rising star Ailbe O’Connell is hoping he can top his first full season in the ACU EnduroGB Championship by sealing the Clubman title at the final event of the season this weekend (12-13 September).

The Hundred House event is hosting rounds 11 and 12 of the season and is being organised by Builth Wells Motorclub. Riders will tackle a 40-mile, figure-of-eight loop that will feature three tests per lap. Visit the event page HERE.

A number of championships will be decided in Mid-Wales this weekend and one of the headline battles will be for the 2026 British Clubman Enduro Championship. 

O’Connell (Rieju) leads the standings by six points from closest rival Josh Lister (Husqvarna). Stanley Cubbon (Beta) is third – a further 19 points back.

With 40 points up for grabs across both days of timecard competition, it’s all to play for in Wales.

For 18-year-old O’Connell, being in title contention has already exceeded expectations as he only made his Enduro debut in 2024 before contesting a handful of British rounds last season.

“I really didn’t expect to be in this position at the start of the season,” the Derbyshire rider explained. “I didn’t think I’d be battling for race wins but I think my consistency has helped me get there. It’s been a very positive season for me and I’m thrilled to be where I am.”

Two wins and a string of podium finishes have underlined that consistency, while O’Connell credits his hard work away from events as one of the contributing factors to his new-found success.

“I’ve been training really hard in the gym with my coach Kieran from Fit Limited,” he said. “He helps me get to where I need to be on the bike and I think that helps massively. It makes a big difference when you can trust your fitness and endurance.”

With only two rounds left, O’Connell – who has ambitions to graduate to the Expert class in 2027 – is acutely aware of what’s at stake this weekend. He insists his approach will be simple as he bids to secure his first British Championship title.

He said: “I’m just going to ride my own race, take the championship out of my head and see how both of the days go. I don’t want to put any added pressure on myself. I know it will be a tough battle against Josh and the other riders, but my form so far gives me confidence.”

Elsewhere in the EnduroGB field, Jed Etchells (Sherco) and Jack Edmondson (KTM) will go head-to-head for the Elite Championship title. Etchells takes a 16-point lead into the event.

With Nieve Holmes (Sherco) winning the Elite Women crown in Devon last time out, the battle for runner-up spot is on. Rosie Rowett (Rieju) and Elizabeth Tett (TM) both missed the last event and may not appear in Mid-Wales either. If that’s the case, New Zealander and Triumph employee, Charlotte Knight, has an opportunity to move ahead of them both.

The Expert class title will be a three-way battle between Kris Price (Beta), Josh Lawer (KTM) and Henry Life (KTM). All three men are separated by 30 points. The race for the Expert over 35 title will also be a three-way duel. Will Keenan (GasGas), Michael Williams (Husqvarna) and Richard Ely (Triumph) are all in contention.

With the Clubman Women title going to Ceri Wyn Jones in Devon, all eyes will be on the race for the respective Over 40 and Over 50 titles this weekend. Shane Tasker (Triumph), Gavin Hunt (Husqvarna), Alex Pringle (Sherco) and Anthony Trawford (GasGas) remain in the Over 40 fight, while it’s a straight shoot-out between Jason Rees (Husqvarna) and Karl Greenall (Triumph) in the Over 50 class. Rees carries a marginal four-point lead into this weekend.

 

Former Enduro world champion Brad Freeman was the rider to beat at the Devon 2 Day Enduro this weekend (21-23 August) as the Beta factory rider topped the timesheets at the end of both days. 

The Briton was making a guest appearance at rounds 9 and 10 of the ACU’s EnduroGB Championship and wasn’t registered for points. But his smooth and fast style made him pretty much unstoppable at the Castle Hill Estate in North Devon as he won the first day by 1m 32.86s from Jed Etchells (Sherco) and was 1m 09.86s ahead of Jack Edmondson (KTM) on Sunday. 

Organised by the Enduro4One club, the event featured a compact route at Filleigh near Barnstaple and kicked off with a well-attended SuperTest on Friday night, before three different Enduro, Motocross and Cross Country tests made up the multi-lap route on Saturday and Sunday. The sprint time card enduro format went down well with riders and the fast and furious nature of the course tested the endurance and fitness of the riders to the max.

Series leader Etchells got closest to Freeman on the first day and duly added 20 points to his tally. But day two proved more challenging for the Manxman and when a crash on the first test dropped him down the order. He battled on to finish sixth overall. 

Edmondson’s strong ride on Sunday secured maximum EnduroGB elite class points, while fellow KTM rider and local hero Dan Mundell returned to form as he finished third overall – and second in the race for series points – on both days. Jack completed the Saturday podium, while brother Harry Edmondson (Triumph) was third a day later.

Elite rider, Rees Jones, also had good reason to celebrate at the end of the event. Completing both days enabled the KTM UK / Par Homes rider to secure his place as the Elite 125 Champion for 2026.

Nieve Holmes took a pair of maximum scores in the Elite Women class to seal the 2026 championship title. With Rosie Rowett electing not to ride as she continued her recovery from a knee injury sustained at EnduroGP of Wales, Holmes was in a class of her own and her latest 40-point haul means she’s uncatchable at the top of the standings with two rounds remaining. 

The Sherco factory rider was more than nine minutes ahead of Emily Elliot-Hall (Beta) on day one, while Charlotte Knight (Triumph) was third. A day later, Elliot-Hall pushed Holmes closer and was only five minutes in deficit at the final time control. Chrissie Harcourt, who stepped up from the Clubman Women class in Devon, was third.

In the race for the Expert title, points leader Kris Price (Beta) topped the timesheets on the first day, narrowly beating Fraiser Lampkin (Beta) by 2.8s. William Barnett (KTM) was third. Those places were shuffled on day two as William won from Price and Lampkin.

The other protagonists in the race for the title enjoyed mixed fortunes. Josh Lawer’s (KTM) consistency was rewarded with a pair of fourth-place finishes, while Henry Life (KTM) had to ride defensively on day one because of a leg fracture. He finished seventh on Saturday but failed to make the finish on Sunday after crashing on the second MX test.

In the Expert Vet Over 35 class, Ricky Wiggins took a pair of wins at the Castle Hill Estate on his Sherco machine. Manxman Will Keenen was runner-up on both days as he pushed his GASGAS machine to the maximum. Michael Williams (Husqvarna) was third on day one, while Richard Ely was third a lay later on his Triumph.

Edward Belton (Husqvarna) was the class of the Youth Expert field on day one as he beat Joe Drysdale (KTM) by more than two minutes, while Gruff Morgan (TM) was almost a minute further back. The race for honours was much closer on day two as only 14.19s separated the top three. Morgan came out on top, while Edward Belton (Husqvarna) was second and Drysdale third. 

Ailbe O’Connell (Rieju) and Josh Lister (Husqvarna) took a win a piece in the super-competitive Clubman class to add valuable points to their season tallies. Lister was second to O’Connell in north Devon on Saturday, with Dean Kitt (GASGAS) third, while O’Connell played second fiddle to Lister on Sunday. Stanley Cubbon (Beta) was third.

Welsh youngster Ceri Wyn Jones wrapped up the Clubman Women title in north Devon after taking her seventh and eighth maximum scores of the 2026 season. Her AWJ Contracting-sponsored 125cc GASGAS ran faultlessly all weekend.

Shane Tasker (Triumph) and Anthony Trawford (GASGAS) enjoyed two days of close competition at the top of the Clubman over 40 timesheets in north Devon. Tasker recorded narrow wins on both days to beat his rival into second place. Gavin Hunt (Husqvarna) and Alex Pringle (Sherco) took third place at rounds nine and ten respectively.

Although he finished fifth overall, comfortably behind class winner Simon Comer (Kawasaki) on Saturday, Karl Greenall (Triumph) took maximum Clubman Over 50 championship points. Jason Rees (Husqvarna) and Daniel Hall (Beta) completed the championship podium. On Sunday, Anthony Griffin (Beta) won the class, but Rees took maximum championship points as he finished third overall. Greenall and Hall completed the championship podium.

George Sheldon was the runaway winner in the Youth Clubman class. The Sherco rider beat Ceri Williams (KTM) into second place on both days of competition. Harry Jones (KTM) completed the podium positions on Saturday, while Lewis Edwards (KTM) was third overall a day later.

The penultimate event of the EnduroGB season takes place this weekend (21-23 August), as the Castle Hill Estate in Devon provides the backdrop for a number of fierce battles for the 2026 class championship honours.

The Devon 2 Day Enduro makes up rounds 9 and 10 of this year’s ACU series and is being expertly organised by the Enduro4One club. A compact route at Filleigh near Barnstaple will provide three different tests: Enduro, Motocross and Cross Country.

Riders will complete multiple laps of a short loop and a spectator-friendly SuperTest will kick the action off on Friday night at 18.00. Entry is free.

Championship Manager Neil Hawker is relishing the opportunity to see how riders get to grips with a revised event format this weekend.

“Things are going to be different to what we’ve had at other events this season,” he explained. “The focus will be very much on three different tests and some riders will benefit in one or two but not necessarily across all three.

“It will be a short lap and rider endurance will be key to a good result because of the multi-lap format. I’m looking forward to seeing how our riders and teams adjust to things.”

With only four point-scoring opportunities remaining – two in Devon and two at the final event in Mid Wales – the race for title honours is reaching a critical stage.

While Jed Etchells, Nieve Holmes (pictured above) and Ceri Wyn-Jones enjoy healthy leads in the Elite, Elite Women, and Clubman Women classes respectively, things are not so clear cut elsewhere.

A testament to the super-competitive series, only two points separate the top-two riders in the Expert Vet O35 and Clubman Vet O40 classes. The gap between first and second in Clubman is six points, while only four points separate the leading pair in Clubman O50.

The battle for silverware in the Expert class is set to be particularly fierce. Kris Price leads the way on his Beta machine, but he’s only two points ahead of Henry Life (KTM) and a further four points clear of Josh Lawer (KTM).

At only 18-year-old, Lawer is the youngest of the title-chasing trio and heads to Devon with plenty to play for. He believes his current position gives him licence to attack.

“I’m sitting third, so there isn’t masses to lose,” the Cornish rider said. “The boys in front have probably got a bit more pressure on them. For me, it’s a case of pushing hard, trying to get some good points and seeing where that leaves us.”

Lawer (pictured above) has been encouraged by the performances he’s put in on his 125cc KTM this year, a bike that has less bottom and top-end power against bigger machines. His only mistake came when a timing error cost valuable points on the first day of the Rieju Yorkshire Enduro.

“I’m pretty happy with how I’ve been riding overall,” he said. “I made a silly mistake with my timing in Yorkshire which dropped me back and meant I could only score seven points on day one, but it’s pleasing to know my other performances have kept me in touch with Kris and Henry.”

His title rivals are guaranteed to provide formidable opposition this weekend, and Lawer knows there will be little margin for error in North Devon where the multi-lap format will place extra emphasis on rider stamina

“They’re both going to be tough to beat,” he confirmed. “Kris and Henry are both very handy riders and they’ll be just as keen as I am to get a good result. It will be hard and intense doing lots of compact laps. My focus is on trying to make the most of every test and showing a high level of endurance.”

Adding to the spectacle at the Devon Two Day Enduro will be an appearance by British Youth Enduro Championship riders (pictured above) for the first time at an EnduroGB event in 2026. The series will be hosting its third round of the season at the Castle Hill Estate.

Neil Hawker said: “With our route being run entirely on private land, it’s fantastic that we can welcome the future stars of our sport and showcase their riding talents alongside our talented EnduroGB field.” 

The event will also benefit from an appearance by multiple Enduro world champion, and runner-up in this year’s FIM EnduroGP E3 class, Brad Freeman. He’ll be riding his familiar Beta machine and arrives fresh from his podium appearances at EnduroGP of Wales.

Early bird entries for Rounds 9 and 10 of the 2026 ACU EnduroGB Championship in Devon will open tonight (30 July).

The Devon 2-Day Enduro is scheduled for 22-23 August and will be held at the Castle Hill Estate in North Devon. Early bird entries will be open until 7 August. The entry fee will increase from £185 to £200 after that date.

Organised by Enduro 4 One, the fifth event on the EnduroGB schedule will feature a figure-of-eight lap that is approximately 12 miles long and will feature three different special tests:

Natural Extreme test

A tight and technical course using the natural terrain with climbs, descents and technical sections. Challenging enough to separate the best, but with sensible lines to keep it enjoyable and rideable for club, amateur and youth riders

Stubble Motocross test

Short and sharp, and fast and flowing. This spectator-friendly test showcases the speed and talent of Britain’s best Enduro competitors

Traditional Enduro test

A mix of woodland, tight sections and open going that rewards the complete all-round enduro rider

The Devon 2-Day Enduro weekend will kick off with a Friday Night Prologue that will feature the Elite and Expert classes. The fast-paced course will be located close to the paddock.

Entries open at 19.00 tonight on the Sport:80 platform.

Nieve Holmes and Jed Etchells made it two wins from two ACU EnduroGB rounds after coming out on top in the second day of competition at the Brechfa Enduro on Sunday.

Both Sherco riders showed a clean pair of heels to their rivals at Round 7 on Saturday, and duly repeated the performance during Round 8 which was expertly organised by Dyfed Dirt Bike Club and based close to Lampeter.

An early morning rain shower ensured the riders were fully awake at the end of a super-slippery first test, but the weather remained fair for the rest of the day and gave way to more consistent riding conditions.

Holmes (pictured above) was the class of the Elite Women field as she beat championship rival Rosie Rowett (Rieju) into second place by a winning margin of 37.5s. Third place went to Elizabeth Tett (TM) who was a minute further back.

Etchells meanwhile, was kept honest by EnduroGP star Steve Holcombe who was using the event to get some valuable time in the saddle before the the next FIM world championship round in Wales (6-9 August).

The gap between the two was 4.9s at the final time control, while Alex Walton (TM) completed the podium with another superb ride in the Elite class.

Elsewhere, Aaron Gordon (Yamaha) put in a notable performance as he finished fourth, while Charlie Chater (Sherco) continued his strong season with a fine eighth overall.

In the ultra-competitive Expert class, the final podium was made up of the same riders from Round 7 a day earlier – but in a different order.

Frasier Lampkin (Beta) turned his second-place on Saturday into a win on Sunday, while Kris Price (Beta) went a place better as he finished second at Round 8. Saturday’s winner, Henry Life (KTM) was third overall, 10.6s behind Welshman Price.

After finishing sixth in the Expert Vet Over 35 class on Saturday, Jamie Paget (KTM) produced a stunning show a day later to top the class, 16.2s ahead of Michael Williams (Husqvarna) who took maximum points on the first day in Brechfa.

The result at the top of the Clubman class was identical to how it was 24 hours earlier as Josh Lister (Husqvarna) took another maximum score. He was 25.3s clear of Ailbe O’Connell (Rieju) who added another 17 points to his championship haul. Chad Prosser (KTM) was third.

Chrissie Harcourt (Triumph) was the class of the Clubman Women entry for the second consecutive day. She was fastest on all but one of the tests to overcome the challenge from Ceri Wyn Jones (GASGAS).

Timothy Saunders (Triumph) topped the Clubman Over 40 standings for the second consecutive day, finishing ahead of Luke Powell (Husqvarna). However, third-place Shane Tasker (Triumph) took maximum championship points as neither of the riders ahead of him are registered in 2026.

Jason Rees (Husqvarna) secured a maximum 20 points in the Clubman Over 50 class, despite finishing second on the overall time cards. First place went to Anthony Griffith (Beta) who isn’t EnduroGB registered.

With the Brechfa Enduro complete, attention quickly turns to the penultimate event of the season: the Devon 2-Day Enduro (22-23 August). The North Devon fixture will contain three tests – Enduro, Extreme and Motocross – and entries open this week.

Sherco riders Jed Etchells and Nieve Holmes took wins in their respective Elite and Elite Women classes at the Brechfa Enduro today – round seven of the ACU EnduroGB Championship.

Championship leader Etchells narrowly beat EnduroGP star Steve Holcombe at the Welsh event by 1.68s, while Alex Walton was third in the Elite race.

Holmes traded times with series rival Rosie Rowett (Rieju) throughout the day, but emerged 20.89s ahead at the final time control to take maximum championship points.

A titanic battle in the Expert class between Henry Life (KTM) and Frasier Lampkin (Beta) was eventually resolved in the favour of Life. After 47 minutes of riding, he took victory by only 0.93s!

Josh Lister dominated the Clubman class on his Husqvarna machine, with Ailbe O’Connell (Rieju) second and Orry Millward (KTM) third.

Chrissie Harcourt made an impressive return to the series in the Clubman Women class. The Triumph rider saw off the challenge of Ceri-Wyn Jones who was second.

In the other classes, Michael Williams (Husqvarna) took Expert Vet over 35 honours, Tim Saunders (Triumph) won Clubman over 40, while Jason Rees (Husqvarna) came out on top in the Clubman Over 50 battle.

The Brechfa Forest in Wales will provide a stern test for around 130 EnduroGB riders when it hosts rounds seven and eight of the ACU series this weekend (25-26 July).

The Dyfed Dirt Bike Club-organised Brechfa Enduro will be run as a traditional long lap timecard event, thanks to the strong relationship and long-term land use agreement between the Auto-Cycle Union (ACU), its organising clubs, and Natural Resources Wales (NRW) which manages the Brechfa complex.

“Piecing a long lap together is pretty challenging in many places these days, but the 36-mile lap that Aled Evans and his hard-working team at Dyfed Dirt Bike Club have created for this weekend is amazing,” EnduroGB series manager Neil Hawker, explained. “Having the NRW firmly on board allows the creation of a traditional long lap time card enduro and I know a lot of riders and teams are excited by that prospect this weekend.”

As well as welcoming the top British and Welsh Championship contenders, the Brecfa Enduro entry list also contains two of the stars from the FIM EnduroGP World Championship; Steve Holcombe (Sherco) and Will Dennett (Triumph).

Both men will be using the event to get some saddle time before the final round of the world championship at EnduroGP Wales in Rhayader on 7-9 August.

Multiple EnduroGP champion Holcombe said: “I’ve spent most of my year in Italy so having some time back in the UK is long overdue and being able to tie Brechfa and EnduroGP Wales together is a bonus when it comes to getting some practice in and enjoying some of the best Enduro terrain in the world.

“I haven’t done a British championship round for a good few years so it will be nice to support the national series and its riders. That’s something I rarely get the chance to do.

“I’ve been keeping an eye on the series from afar and it looks like the guys are going pretty well. I’m hoping I don’t get too involved with the championship standings because that’s obviously not not a nice place to be when you’re getting in amongst people. My result won’t matter too much this weekend, whether I’m first or fifth. But obviously it’s nice to see a Sherco on the top step of the podium!”

The start and finish of the event will be located in Cwmann which sits outside the town of Lampeter. The riders will depart for the three brand-new tests at 09.00 on Saturday and Sunday morning. The service and spectator area will be at the Test 3 (Extreme) location.

Rieju Yorkshire and Ramsey Enduro winner Jed Etchells (Sherco) takes a narrow 11-point lead over Jack Edmondson to Brechfa in the Elite Championship, while Nieve Holmes (Sherco) continues to dominate the Elite Women Championship standings with five maximum scores from six rounds.

The battle in the Expert class is expected to be fierce this weekend with Kris Price (Beta) and Josh Lawer (KTM) tied on 96 points apiece. They’re only five points clear of round six winner Henry Life (KTM). 

Will Keenan (GASGAS) leads the Expert Vet Over 35 class, while Ailbe O’Connell (Rieju) holds an eight-point advantage at the top of the Clubman standings. Ceri-Wyn Jones (GASGAS) is the clear leader in the Clubman Women points, and Gavin Hunt (Husqvarna), Alex Pringle (Sherco) and Shane Tasker (KTM) are separated by just eight points in the race for the Clubman Over 40 title.

Karl Greenall (Triumph) will be looking for another strong Clubman Over 50 performance after underlining his series lead with a 40-point maximum at the Ramsey Enduro earlier this month.

Sherco rider Jed Etchells made local knowledge count as he won rounds 5 and 6 of the ACU EnduroGB Championship at the Ramsey British Enduro on the Isle of Man last weekend (4-5 July).

The Manxman (pictured above), riding for Moto-Fit Racing, was in fine Elite class form as he took victory on Saturday by a margin of 29.02s from Fast Eddy Triumph Rider Jamie McCanney, while PAR Homes Enduro Team ace Jack Edmondson was a further 14.12s in arrears.

A day later, Jed was at it again in the Manx sand dunes. This time he took maximum Round 6 points as Jack and Jamie switched podium places with the former finishing second and the latter third.

Elite Women

ET James Sherco UK rider Nieve Holmes continued her fine form in the Elite Women class as she showed a clean pair of heels to Rieju rider Rosie Rowett on both days.

The TeamGB rider was fastest on all but one test to record a 1m 27.83s winning margin on day one, and a 1m 02.32s advantage a day later.

Elizabeth Tett completed the podium across rounds 5 and 6, while Charlotte Knight was fourth in both events as she enjoyed some good bike time and got in some useful bush mechanics experience ahead of her representing New Zealand at the upcoming ISDE.

Expert

In the Expert class, KTM riders Josh Lawer and Henry life took a win apiece. Josh took a narrow 2.41s win from Alfie Heard on Saturday with William Barnett slotting in just behind, while Sunday’s winning margin was slightly more for Henry as he beat Josh by 6.14s. Welshman Kris Price completed the podium on his Beta machine.

Expert Vet Over 35

Michael Williams was the man to beat in this class across both days. Riding his trusty Husqvarna machine, the Englishman beat local rider Will Keenan into second place on both days. His winning margin was a touch over 13 seconds at the end of Round 5, before putting the hammer down on Sunday to win by more than a minute.

Glenn Phillips rounded out the podium on his Kawasaki at the end of day one, before Welshman Aled Price guided his Sherco to the same result a day later.

Clubman

Stanley Cubbon (Beta) and Ailbe O’Connell (Rieju) went head-to-head for victory across both days in the Clubman class on the Isle of Man. 

While Stanley drew first blood with a 24.87s victory on day one, Ailbe fought back spectacularly a day later to win the round on the final test. His advantage at the final time control was just 1.76s after 35 minutes of competitive riding.

KTM riders Josh Lister and Orry Millward completed the podium across both days.

Clubman Women

The only entrant in the class, Ceri Wyn Jones kept out of trouble on her GASGAS as she battled her way to the finish and another maximum points haul on both days.

Clubman Over 40

Scottish riders dominated the Clubman Over 40 class at the Ramsey British Enduro. Alastair Millar steered his Sherco to victory on day one ahead of compatriot Alex Pringle. But with Alastair not registered for EnduroGB points, Alex took the 20 points on offer.

A day later, Alex took his second maximum of the weekend, this time finishing at the head of the field. But his winning margin was only 1.95s after second place Gavin Hunt fought back ferociously on the final test to take 14 seconds out of his rival.

Clubman Over 50

The podium in this class was identical across both EnduroGB rounds. Local rider Alistair Heginbotham (Sherco) led the field home on both days, with Triumph rider Karl Greenall second on both occasions. Third place went to Jason Rees on his Husqvarna.

However, with Alistair not registered for the series, Karl took maximum EnduroGB points on both days, while Jason was next up on 17 points. Mike Turner, who was fourth overall on both days, secured 15 championship points on each day.

The next round of the EnduroGB series will be the Brechfa 2-Day Enduro in North Wales on 25-26 July. Entries are still available for this event.
